Gary Getto
Vice President, Integrated Media Intelligence
Gary was a senior executive at PRtrak prior to being acquired by VMS in 2005.
He currently leads VMS' efforts to measure and analyze the combined impact of news coverage and advertising communications on key business metrics, such as sales or product preferences. He has been primarily responsible for the ground-breaking work done by VMS in linking editorial coverage to business outcomes.
Gary has extensive background in product development, strategic planning, and sales/marketing, especially in the publishing and direct response industries.
Mr. Getto holds a B.S., Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Masters in Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Angela Jeffrey
Vice President Media Research
Angela Jeffrey, APR, is a 20+year veteran of public relations, advertising and marketing. She holds four national awards -- two Silver Anvils from the Public Relations Society of America, and two Gold Quills from the International Association of Business Communicators.
Angie is a member of the IPR Commission on PR Measurement & Evaluation and a frequent speaker on public relations measurement and evaluation to PRSA, IABC and other communications groups throughout the country.
Angie has co-written a number of white papers on research linking PR outputs with business outcomes, called "Share of Discussion." Toward the goal of making this new measure as accurate as possible, she helped develop a new Media Prominence Index, which enables practitioners to utilize a single metric to capture both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of media coverage. This new MPI has tightened correlations between media outputs and business outcomes dramatically.
Ms Jeffrey graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a BFA in Journalism and BBA in Marketing.
